The project was originally granted planning permission and was intended to run until 2019, but a new application has been submitted to allow the wind farm to run for many more years, potentially until 2027 as it continues to perform well, and contribute to the local economy and community projects. The wind farm is sited on a plateau just to the north of a Site of Special Scientific Interest between Rhayader and Llangurig, Powys. This was a major factor in the environmental assessment of the project and care was taken in planning the wind farm to avoid areas of ecological interest and to minimise its effect on the local environment. The current planning consent for Bryn Titli Wind Farm ends in 2019. The wind farm has proven to be in an excellent location for renewable energy generation and continues to operate well. It is, therefore, proposed to extend the operational life of the existing Bryn Titli Wind Farm until 31 March 2027 with a further 12 months to allow decommissioning and restoration of the site until 29 June 2028.

Naturalis Energy Developments Ltd ha sviluppato proposte per un parco eolico con il potenziale di stoccaggio solare e di batterie in loco, sul bordo meridionale della foresta di North Kyle tra Patna e Rankinston. Il sito proposto per il parco eolico di Knockkippen, si affaccia su diverse ex miniere a cielo aperto.
Tra il 1849 e il 1965 c’erano circa 52 miniere di pietra di ferro e carbone nell’area di Patna e l’estrazione mineraria era il pilastro dell’economia locale, ma le successive chiusure dei pozzi hanno avuto un impatto negativo sull’occupazione e sull’economia locali.
Questo progetto di energia rinnovabile aiuterà l’economia locale – e scozzese – a raggiungere il suo obiettivo a zero emissioni di carbonio entro il 2045, generando energia pulita e verde dalla natura.

This wind farm is located near the English Channel, 6 miles to the east of Morlaix and very close to the national road going to Brest and Rennes. Around half a mile south of the site is the Monts d’Arrée massif, the highest point in Brittany (1,263 feet). In the surrounding area, the land is used partly for agriculture and party for local and regional light industry. The land on which the site is located belongs to private owners who use it for agriculture and stockbreeding. Energy production is channeled to an EDF power station approximately 5 miles away via an underground cable following existing roads, precisely to minimize the environmental impact. For the construction of the wind farm, turbines with a power of around 2 MW were chosen, for a total installed power of 10 MW. Clean energy produced per year equivalent to the needs of: Around 5,000 households Amount of CO2 saved: around 16 tons per year.

The altitude of the site varies between 900 m and 1,200 m. The plant is grid connected, namely, it is connected to the public distribution network into which the energy produced is supplied, so there is no need to install electricity accumulators. The photovoltaic modules consist of 26,040 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells with stable performance over time and a high return. The modules are south facing and tilted at a 20° angle, defined so as to optimize the annual yield in a way that is compatible with the need to limit mutual shading and the area available.CO2 savings: 3,700 tons/year

The modules are south-facing with a tilt angle of 20°, defined so as to optimise the annual yield in line with the need to limit reciprocal shading and the area available. This wind farm is owned and operated by Eólica de Cabezo San Roque, a subsidiary of Renantis, and is located in the municipality of La Muela, around 18 miles south-west of Zaragoza in the Spanish region of Aragon. It is situated on a vast plateau, around 2,000 feet above sea level. The 23.25-MW wind farm includes 31 turbines and provides enough clean energy for over 16,000 households, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by around 15,000 tons per year.

The La Muela wind project comprises two farms, Plana de Jareta and La Carracha, both located south-west of Zaragoza in the Spanish region of Aragon. They each have an installed capacity of 49.5 MW and consist of 66 turbines. The project is connected to the Red Eléctrica de España transmission network at the Los Vientos 220-kV substation. The project generates enough clean energy to cover the needs of around 43,000 households and prevents the production of around 70,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year. Renantis owns 26% of La Muela and its partner is BayWa AG.

Last May 2019, Renantis announced an investment in energy storage system to be integrated with the existing solar Middleton PV plant.
MELD has entered into a long-term capacity service agreement with Renantis to dispatch the energy storage system during periods of high demand charges on the power grid. It distributes energy to customers based on a community shared solar agreement, signed by 197 customers (including two large industries), which provides a discount on the electricity bill.

The project has also included 4 miles of road modifications and 5 miles of new roads, as well as electricity infrastructure such as cables, switchgears and a control station. It is estimated that the plant will produce up to 160 GWh per year, enough clean energy to power around 32,000 households.

The wind farm consists of nineteen Nordex N131 turbines, each with a capacity of 3.9 MW, a maximum height at the rotor tip of 199.5 m, a rotor diameter of 131 m and a hub height of 134 m. The project also includes the construction of new roads and modification of existing roads, as well as electrical infrastructure such as cables, control panels and a transformer substation. The plant can produce up to 265 GWh, enough clean energy to meet the needs of about 53,000 households calculating an average consumption per household of 5,000 kWh per year, excluding heating (SOU 1999:75).

This farm consists of 12 wind turbines. The project also included a 3-mile access road, 4.8 miles of internal roads, a new ro-ro jetty on the shore, a substation with a control room and electricity infrastructure such as cables, switchgears and a transformer (55 MVA).The grid company, Sogn og Fjordane Energi Nett, built a new overhead power line to connect the site to the regional grid. It is estimated that the plant will generate up to 174 GWh of electricity per year, enough clean energy to supply between 8,700 and 10,900 households.

The wind farm is located on the Western coast of Norway on the Stadlandet peninsula near Selije, within Sogn on Fjodane county. The turbines have been specifically optimised for this high-wind project, have a maximum rated capacity of 4.2MW each and are mounted on 90-metre towers and a maximum height of 148.5 meters. An average annual production of 75 GWh is expected, well above the average of Renantis wind fleet for an equivalent capacity.
