Carmelo Scalone

Carmelo leads our international growth team, working together on the expansion of Nadara’s portfolio through development, acquisitions, entry into new markets and technological differentiation.

Carmelo brings over 25 years of experience in the renewable energy sector to his role. He began his career in ABB, in Italy and in Sweden, ultimately becoming Chief Commercial Officer in ABB Energy Automation. He went on to hold the position of CEO of Gamesa Energía Italia between 2000 and 2007, before becoming Executive Vice President of the Gamesa group for the entire Mediterranean region.

Between 2007 and 2013, he was Executive Vice President of Business Development at EDP Renewables in Madrid, and prior to joining Nadara in 2017, he was on the Executive Committee of EDF Renouvelables in Paris.
