Jorge Martínez

Jorge Martínez is a renewable energy executive with more than two decades of experience delivering fully integrated, commercially viable energy solutions. Throughout his career, Jorge has developed deep expertise in renewable technologies, including solar, wind, biogas, and fuel cells, and extensive knowledge of power sector regulations, market entry strategies and stakeholder engagement.

Before joining Nadara, Jorge was Executive Director at Cero Generation, a leading solar developer, where he led engineering, grid integration, construction, and HSQE. Over the course of his career, he has overseen the delivery of over 4 GW of installed capacity, helping to scale complex infrastructure across multiple markets and regulatory environments.

Jorge has built his career in fast-paced, international settings, including 11 years in the United States. This global perspective, combined with his track record of execution, makes him well placed to lead Nadara’s growth strategy, focused on delivering our pipeline, unlocking value from our assets, and expanding optionality to maximize long-term value.

Trained as an industrial engineer, specializing in the energy sector, he also holds three master’s degrees in engineering and renewables. He is passionate about the sector and sits on the Board of several energy development companies.
