Our Board of directors is composed of executive and non-executive members, working together to oversee the financial health of Nadara and ensure our business is run in a way that cares for all stakeholders.
Carlos Guinand
Chairman
Carlos Guinand is an entrepreneur and one of the founders of Sonnedix, a global solar Independent Power Producer (IPP) with a proven track record in delivering high-performance cost competitive solar photovoltaic plants to the market.
He currently serves as the company’s Chairman of the Board, managing all aspects of the company’s governance and performance. He has been instrumental in setting the strategic direction and growth of the company, especially when it comes to providing his knowledge of international governance and operational issues.
Most recently, Carlos was appointed as non-executive Chairman of Ventient Energy, a sister company of Sonnedix, and Europe’s largest independent onshore wind power generator with a presence in six European countries.
Over the course of his career, Carlos has gained wide-ranging expertise across industries; he has been a successful entrepreneur in various businesses over the last 20 years and has gained significant experience overseeing a portfolio of private equity investments in South America and Europe. Carlos attended Law School at UCAB Venezuela.
Olov Mikael Kramer
Vice Chairman
For the last 30 years, Olov Mikael Kramer has been active within Corporate Finance, M&A and Business Development.
Since 2015, he is engaged as an advisor to investors and incumbents in the energy infrastructure sector.
He is also non-executive director for IIF’s investments in the European onshore wind company Ventient Energy and non-executive director and Chairman for the Finnish district heating and Industrial Energy Solutions company Adven/Värmevärden active in Finland, Sweden and the Baltics.
Olov Mikael Kramer was previously employed for 17 years with the energy company Vattenfall.
During the time with Vattenfall, he acted for 11 years as VP/ Director and Head of Group Mergers and Acquisitions during its acquisitive expansion to become one of Europe’s largest energy companies.
Previous to that position, he was employed at a Swedish-based venture capital group executing turnarounds of distressed companies, real estate portfolio and debt restructuring as well as corporate finance with Swedish bank group Nordea.
Mark Alan Walters
Director
Mark A. Walters is an investment principal in the Infrastructure Investments Group, based in London.
He is primarily responsible for leading the Group’s investment activity across the European utilities sector having joined the firm in 2009.
Mark A. Walters has previously held board positions at across a number of European utility companies.
As a current member of the Värmevärden and Adven board, Mark A. Walters is responsible for providing ongoing strategic guidance to the boards and executives of these portfolio companies.
Prior to JPMAM, Mark A. Walters spent time working with Macquarie Capital’s European Advisory team having started his career at Arthur Andersen, and subsequently Deloitte, practicing as a chartered accountant.
He holds a B.S.c (Hons) degree from the University of Manchester in England and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Jaime Garcia-Legaz
Independent Director
Jaime García-Legaz is an Independent Director on the Boards of Nature Investments, AENA Internacional, Canal de Isabel II and Pañalon.
As an Executive Director, Jaime held the position of CEO at AENA (2017-2018) and CESCE (2015-2017). In the past, he has chaired the Bof AENA, CESCE, CIAC, Informa Dun&Bradstreet, ICEX and Invest in Spain.
He also served as Director on the Boards of DIA, Ahorro Corporación Financiera, INECO, Retevisión, Red.es and Club de Campo Villa de Madrid.
Jaime García-Legaz served as Minister of State for Commerce, International Trade and Foreign Investment in the Government of Spain from 2011 to 2015), Member of Parliament (2008-2012), and as an economist at the Spanish Treasury, Banco de España and Spain’s President Office.
Jaime has served as a consultant to the OECD, the European Union and the World Bank, including missions to Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria. In the past, he has also been a Professor of Economics at IE Business School and CUNEF Business School.
Jaime García-Legaz holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF, a Ph.D. in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (cum laude, with Honors), and postgraduate and post-doc programs from Harvard University, University of Oxford and IESE Business School.
Jaimie belongs to the Spanish State High Corps of Economists since 1994.
Georgina Grenon
Independent Director
An expert in renewable energy and clean energy technology innovation, Georgina Grenon holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires and an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
She started her career in development at YPF S.A., the national oil company in Argentina.
She then assumed the position of Director at the international strategic consulting firm Booz Allen, focusing mainly on energy and operations and working in Europe, the United States, Japan and South America for almost ten years.
She then joined the Directorate General of Energy and Climate (DGEC), part of the French Ministry of Ecology and Energy, where she supported the development of renewable energy policies and markets for six years.
She also represented France at the International Energy Agency, promoting international cooperation in market creation, innovation and clean technology deployment, playing an active role at COP21 and, among other things, helping to create the International Solar Alliance.
She later moved to ENGIE Group, becoming director of ENGIE Fab’s New Business Factory. Georgina Grenon joined the Organizing Committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games as Director of Environmental Excellence.
Bruce Phillips
Independent Director
Bruce Phillips is a Senior Advisor at the NorthBridge Group, a leading economic and strategic consulting firm serving clients in the U.S. electric and natural gas sectors, including regulated utilities, competitive generators, and other companies and organisations active in the energy space.
In over 30 years of consulting, he has advised companies in the electric utility, merchant power, private equity, technology development, power marketing, natural gas pipeline and gas marketing industries, as well as government agencies and non-profit organisations. His recent work has focused on electric generation markets, design of greenhouse gas policies and the deployment of low-carbon energy infrastructure at scale.
Bruce is Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of the Yale Center for Business and the Environment and serves on the Board of Directors of the Clean Air Task Force, a non-profit organisation working to advance technologies and policies needed to achieve a zero-emissions, high-energy planet at an affordable cost. He received a B.A. from the College of the Atlantic, an M.F.S. from Yale School of the Environment, and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.
Steen Stavnsbo
Independent Director
Steen is an internationally experienced senior executive and board member with over 30 years in the renewable energy sector.
He brings deep expertise in strategy and governance, business development and organic growth, investment and M&A, as well as project development and project finance.
Steen currently serves on the board of Nature Investments, the holding company of Nortegas. He is the former board member and strategic advisor to Ventient Energy (2014–2023) and former board member of Sonnedix Power (2014–2021). All three companies fully or majority owned by institutional investors in the Infrastructure Investments Fund (IIF).
Since 2009, Steen has also chaired or served on the boards of multiple unlisted companies, public sector enterprises, institutions, and foundations.
From 2014–2022, he served in local government as a Councillor, Committee member and Alderman for Infrastructure & Environment for the Municipality of Aarhus.
Earlier in his career, Steen held senior executive roles in listed companies, including Head of Wind Energy at Allco Finance Group, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing at NEG Micon (now Vestas), and CFO of Schouw & Co.
He holds an MBA from Aarhus BSS and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
Alistair Buchanan
Independent Director
Alistair is an experienced senior executive, appointed as a non-executive director of Nadara in 2026. Prior to this, Alistair spent seven years serving as Chair at Electricity North West ( ENWL), a £5bn regulated network company serving their 5 million customers. In the five years previous, he was senior partner of the UK energy practise at KPMG.
From 2003, Alistair spent 10 years as CEO of Ofgem (the UK’s gas and electricity markets regulator), during which he also sat on the Boards of Durham University (where he studied) and Scottish Water.
Alistair was awarded the civic honour – the CBE – by Queen Elizabeth II in 2008 for services to UK energy policy making.
His early career was spent primarily in the financial services sector with investment banks, both in New York and London, where he was the top ranked investment analyst for several years running.
