The system is grid connected, i.e. connected to the public distribution network into which it feeds the energy produced; there is therefore no need for electricity accumulators. The photovoltaic modules consist of 14280 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells with stable performance over time and high efficiency; the cells are encapsulated between a layer of ÈVA, a UV-stable polymer with low hygroscopicity and tempered glass. The modules are south-facing with a tilt angle of 20°, defined so as to optimise the annual yield in line with the need to limit reciprocal shading and the area available.
