Nadara sharpens strategic focus with sale of Vector Renewables

All articles

Milan, 30 September 2026 - Nadara has completed the divestment of its entire stake in Vector Renewables to Algebris Green Transition Fund, marking an important step in the company's continued evolution as a Next-Generation IPP.

With over 4.3GW of renewable energy assets and an 18GW pipeline across six core countries, Nadara is focused on scaling its renewables energy infrastructure platform and allocating resources to the areas where it can create the greatest long-term value. The sale of Vector Renewables supports this focus, enabling the company to concentrate on its core strengths.

While Vector Renewables has been an important part of the Nadara group for more than a decade, its business model and future growth trajectory are distinct from Nadara's core infrastructure-focused strategy. As Nadara continues to concentrate on developing, owning and operating renewable energy infrastructure, both parties recognised that Vector Renewables would be best positioned to pursue its next phase of growth under ownership aligned with its specialist services and technology ambitions.

Over the past 12 years, Vector Renewables has played a significant role in Nadara's growth and development. During that time, the company established itself as a respected provider of renewable energy asset management, technical advisory and digital solutions, supporting the advancement of the energy transition across multiple markets.

Toni Volpe, CEO of Nadara, said:

“Growing companies make deliberate choices about where they can create the most value. This transaction allows Nadara to sharpen its focus on renewable energy infrastructure, concentrating our efforts and capital on the areas where we can create the greatest long-term value.

“Vector Renewables has been an important part of our journey for the past 12 years, and we are incredibly proud of what the team has achieved. They have built a strong business with deep expertise, a talented team and a meaningful contribution to the energy transition. We believe Vector’s new shareholder is well positioned to support the next phase of Vector Renewables' growth, and we wish them every success for the future.”

The transaction positions both organisations to pursue their respective growth ambitions while continuing to contribute to the development of a more sustainable energy system. Nadara remains focused on advancing its strategic priorities, expanding its renewable energy portfolio and delivering long-term value for customers, communities and stakeholders.”

The Algebris Green Transition Fund fundraising closed in July 2024.
