Nadara, Europe’s largest independent power producer (IPP) of onshore wind, has scored 98/100 in the annual GRESB Infrastructure Asset Assessment, which recognises excellence in the management and reporting of sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
This is the first GRESB rating for Nadara, following the formation of the company in 2024, and maintains the impressive level of results achieved over the past ten years by Ventient Energy and Renantis. Nadara was ranked #1 out of 652 in the Management section of the GRESB questionnaire, reflecting its solid leadership in sustainability management, with outstanding achievements in sustainability governance and reporting practices.
GRESB assesses how participating companies manage sustainability and ESG issues as well as the ability to report on ESG data points considered by investors and industry participants to be material, or most important. GRESB outputs are used by investors globally to assess exposure to risks and identify new opportunities for investment.
Stefano Corrado, Head of ESG Data Reporting, said, “Receiving Nadara’s first GRESB rating is a significant milestone and a proud moment for all of us. This achievement is the result of an enormous amount of work and collaboration across the organisation to provide accurate data and insights.
Sustainability is built into the purpose of our organisation. It is essential to delivering our strategic objectives and we will continue working to improve, creating value for all our stakeholders through the generation of renewable energy, minimising our impact on the environment and leaving society in a better place.”
