Nadara launches yaw misalignment challenge

That’s why we’re partnering with WeDoWind, a non-profit open innovation platform dedicated to the wind energy sector, to launch a new challenge focused on high-frequency yaw misalignment detection.
Yaw misalignment can have a significant impact on wind turbine performance. Even small deviations can result in reduced energy production, increased mechanical loads and avoidable underperformance across wind assets.
Through this initiative, participants are invited to explore innovative, data-driven approaches using real operational data, with the aim of improving detection and generating actionable insights.
WeDoWind brings together asset owners, researchers and data experts from around the world to collaborate on real industry challenges and unlock the full value of wind data. This partnership reflects Nadara’s commitment to open innovation and to advancing solutions that support the energy transition.
